2024-2025
embroidery on recycled fabric
3.75x5"
The title is from an essay, 'The Transparent Eyeball' written by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
He wrote, ‘In the woods, we return to reason and faith. There I feel that nothing can befall me in life—no disgrace, no calamity, (leaving me my eyes,). ,
This work is an imagining of the natural world that is approachable and safe. The eyes are there to watch over all who enter.
All my work is hand stitched on recycled fabrics.
